Application, FAQ’s and important information


-Admission to studies shall be conducted by competition. Applicants’ admission shall be based on the requirements established for each study programme and the calculation of the competitive score. The competitive succession shall be drawn up in descending order of applicants’ competitive scores. A person shall be included in the competitive succession list once they have paid the application fee and passed the general aptitude test and(or) the motivation interview with a positive evaluation. The applicant’s competitive score shall be the sum of the recalculated grades in the subjects in the school leaving certificate, the admission test, and other achievements listed in our Rules for Admission, multiplied by the weighting factors.

- Please note that documents from the previous educational establishment proving that the training programme was conducted in English are not acceptable. Applicants must have an English proficiency certificate as set out in our Rules of Admission or can sign up for an English language test offered by Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution for a price of 30,25 EUR.

-The responsible staff of the Study Administration Unit shall convert the grades and
conduct academic recognition or mediate obtaining a certificate from the Centre for Quality
Assessment in Higher Education.

-Please don’t pay until you’ve received your invoice. Invoice is sent when the pre-approval of the application is done. Application fee is not refundable.

-After verification of the applicant’s eligibility, an interview to assess the applicant’s
motivation and communication skills and a general aptitude test shall be organised remotely by a
committee.

-Tuition fee is refundable only if the applicant does not receive a Temporary Residence Permit in the Republic of Lithuania.
